To assure product quality to the customer and public in compliance with the Quality Policy Management System. Provide assistance to the Quality Department and all other employees in regards to quality compliance.
Responsible for maintaining good relations with customers including good communications and transfer of information.
Determines customer satisfaction by interviewing customer representatives and informing GNC Management of issues and trends. Initiate customer action as needed.
Responsible for maintaining product quality to the customer by complying with ASMO GNC and customer quality system plans and customer specifications.
Responsible for assisting in the investigation of defects and field claims and assisting in the implementation of countermeasures.
Responsible for understanding and complying with customer quality system requirements.
Completes and communicates necessary reports.
Responsible for the preparation of product quality documentation per ASMO GNC or the customer requirements.
Maintains good 5S practices.
III. SCOPE OF JOB

Requires some travel.
Requires teamwork and participation in Employee Involvement and the Quality and Environmental Management Systems.

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Requires a minimal 2 year degree in engineering or an equivalent technical discipline; experience in a manufacturing environment with quality assurance experience is preferred or 10 years experience in manufacturing and quality.
Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of Associates in both written and oral formats.
Must have proficient math and analytical skills.
Must have a proficient working knowledge of investigation techniques.
Excellent computer skills.

Follow all procedures and work instructions pertaining to your assignment and make recommendations to improve the process.
Notify Quality Management immediately when problems or non-conformances are detected.
Appropriately record problem or non-conformance to ensure corrective action and preventative measures are taken.
Assist in the problem solving process, corrective action and prevention activities.
Contain or stop the process as necessary to prevent non-conforming material from contaminating good material.
Learn, understand, communicate and practice the Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
Play an active role in achieving and maintaining the Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
